Any statement or symbol can be created to appear on Lasermet’s Ultra Signs in a variety of colors. Customers are presented with a refined and polished image by the Ultra series of signs. The LED backlighting ensures that the display always has a polished appearance. The screen is free of pixelation, which is a potential problem with matrix LED displays.
In place of the typical black surround, white surround LED signs are available for use in clean room settings, hospitals, and medical places.
DUAL COLOUR & DUAL MESSAGE
The capacity of these attractive signs to display two texts in different colors taking up the same space is one of their key advantages. This gets rid of the requirement for multiple signs serving the same purpose and lowers the total area needed.
Customers can use pre-existing standard designs or specify their own designs, shapes, and wording. The final user has the option to specify unique designs and text.
Safety-critical areas, medical facilities (e.g., dentist offices, doctor’s offices), hotels, offices, airports, banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, government buildings, and many more are examples of typical uses.
Optional Features
AUTOMATIC VARIABLE BRIGHTNESS
The Ultra range sign’s brightness can be automatically adjusted to suit the ambient lighting conditions when the Automatic variable brightness feature is ordered as an optional feature for the large LED signs.
The sign will decrease in brightness in low light to prevent excessive glare and to save power, and increase in brightness in bright sunlight to make up for the increased light level. The sign’s brightness can be adjusted to its highest setting or managed by an external 24V DC supply, if necessary. These dimmable LED signs adjust their light intensity based on the light levels around them thanks to a light sensor.
DUAL REDUNDANCY
Dual LED illuminator boards are typically included with the signs, providing redundancy in the event of an LED failure. A second control board (part number: LEDS-ULT-CB) should be requested if true redundancy is needed. This is designed to fit inside the sign and offers true dual redundancy in case the control board or LED fails. The sign can then be powered by either one or two sources, depending on the severity of the safety concern. One option is to offer monitor contacts.
